Location

There are numerous public footpaths from Llanfair that provide easy access to the countryside. There are good local bus services through Llanfair and the nearby stations along the Cambrian Coastline railway provide excellent links to nearby harbour towns including Porthmadog and Barmouth, in addition to regular services to the Midlands. 

The town of Harlech is within about one mile and there are a good variety of shops, restaurants and public houses. The town also offers schooling for both primary and secondary age groups. Harlech provides a wide range of leisure facilities which attract many visitors including a public swimming pool and climbing wall and the Royal St David's championship golf course.

From Barmouth proceed northwards along the main coast road A496 for approximately 8 miles. Take the second right turn in to Llanfair (at the crossroads which lead right to Llandanwg beach).

Continue up the hill passed Fron Deg on the left and at the crossroads turn left into Old Llanfair Road.  Continue up the hill and Prysg is situated about 20 metres passed Pant Yr Onnen, on the left hand side. Its name plate is by the door.
