Llwyngwril is a coastal village situated approximately 8 miles from Tywyn and 10 miles from Dolgellau. It has a general store and a public house.  There is a lovely beach and the village is served by the Cambrian Coast Railway with services to Barmouth and Pwllheli in the north and Machynlleth and Birmingham to the south.

Directions

From Dolgellau by pass A470 take the turn off to the west signposted Tywyn on the A493 coast road.  Continue along this road for a further 10 miles into the village of Llwyngwril.

Proceed through the village and continue for 1 mile beyond the end of the village 30mph limit and go past a farm barn and a cream coloured bungalow on the right.  About 0.1 of a mile after this, turn right where there is a yellow sign saying Rola.  This single track narrow lane leads down to Yr Olaf which will be on the right hand side after about 50 metres.
