Situated on the periphery of Blaenau Ffestiniog, the home of the famous Ffestiniog narrow gauge steam railway and situated high up amongst mountainous scenery in an area surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park. The towns slate mining industry still survives today but was in its heyday during the Victorian era and spectacular evidence of this can still be seen in the surrounding scenery. Directions

From Porthmadog, take the A487 heading towards Blaenau Ffestiniog.  After about 7 miles turn left where signposted for Blaenau Ffestiniog onto the A496. Continue along the A496 bearing left where the road forks (still A496) for Blaenau Ffestiniog & Betws y Coed. Continue on this road towards Blaenau Ffestiniog, taking the 1st turning on the left, signposted for Tanygrisiau after the 40mph speed sign. Proceed along the road, where the road takes a sharp right you will see two roads forking off to the left. Take the first left and proceed past the primary school on the left and terrace houses on your right for about 150 metres. Dolydd Terrace is on the right hand side and is identified by our For Sale board.
